Past-Presidents’ Scholarship Award

The North Carolina Recreational Therapy Association will again offer the opportunity for students in recreational therapy programs to receive the Past-Presidents’ Conference Scholarship.

The scholarship was established in 1995 to recognize the outstanding achievements of students by providing the opportunity to attend and participate in the NCRTA Annual Conference. The scholarship is available to students who are enrolled in a RT program during the conference year. Applicants must be a current member of NCRTA. If not, a membership application must accompany the scholarship application. Students will only be eligible for this award one time during their academic pursuit. This is a “working” scholarship and the recipients will work closely with the conference planning committee to assist with registration, room monitoring and student networking. The scholarship recipients will be recognized at the 2017 NCRTA Annual Conference, and will receive complimentary conference registration and room accommodations.
